A Team Building Experience Unlike Any Other

Argentine tango is one hundred percent non-verbal communication. One person leads, the other follows, and both listen carefully to each other. That is exactly the dynamic every strong team needs in the workplace. No abstract theory — just a direct experience of how you move together, adapt, and collaborate.

BE-TANGO has been organising tango workshops for companies in Brussels and beyond for years. Whether you are planning an intimate session for ten colleagues or a large department event, we tailor every workshop to your team's dynamics. And rest assured: no dance experience required. Everyone can join.

What Tango Teaches Every Team

Trust & Vulnerability

Tango simply does not work without trust. Instead of standard office games, colleagues experience on the dance floor exactly what it means to literally lean on one another and find balance together.

Non-Verbal Communication

In tango we do not speak with words, but with our bodies. Your team quickly discovers how many signals we send unconsciously — and how to communicate clearly and powerfully without raising your voice.

Leadership & Followership

Leading means giving direction; following means actively interpreting and filling the space. Because everyone rotates roles, participants develop immediate empathy and understanding for each other's position in the company.

Shared Fun & Laughter

Beyond the insights on leadership, learning tango together is simply a lot of fun. The initial nerves usually vanish within five minutes, there is plenty of laughter, and your team leaves with a new shared energy.

How a Session Works

1

Introduction

We start with a no-nonsense explanation of the essence of tango. How does the connection between two people work? What does leading and following mean in practice? We draw the parallel to your team's everyday collaboration right away.

2

Partner Exercises

In rotating pairs we take to the floor. With simple, step-by-step exercises we focus on posture, attunement, and sensing what your partner wants to do. Making mistakes is allowed — that is how we learn.

3

Group Practice

Then we bring the whole group together. The atmosphere in the room always shifts when colleagues realise they can — after barely an hour — actually navigate the dance floor together in a real tango flow.

4

Debrief & Reflection

If desired, we close with a short reflection. What stood out? Who turned out to be a surprising leader or a remarkably strong follower? Together we translate the lessons from the dance floor into the daily reality of your workplace.
